Clear Grip is sold by the foot.
The quantity you order is the length in feet.
So if you order '4' you will receive a piece 10.8" wide and 4' long.
Also available in 2" and 3" widths.

This 10.8" wide version is ideal for the nose area on SUPs, placed two sheets wide.
